I have been a Massage Therapist for over 22 years and have loved the journey! I started Sierra Madre Massage Company because of my passion to help individuals achieve optimal health and wellness through the healing power of touch. I wanted to create a warm and welcoming environment where every client feels safe and comfortable. A place clients can trust when they come into our clinic, they will receive the very best service.
When I’m not at the clinic, I am spending time with family, enjoying food, nature, and wine. I have two very active boys that love to play sports so weekends are spent at the fields.
The most important thing to me in my career as a Massage Therapist is helping people on their journey from physical stress, injury or chronic pain. I am fortunate that my greatest joy in life is healing using my hands with a combination of re-molding muscle and tissue, pulling, compressing and revisiting tight areas as I progress through the body, both as a whole and in its myriad of details. I work slowly and intentionally with gentle and increasingly firm pressure to help open up the body and increase blood flow into tight muscles and tissue, allowing it to feel revived, refreshed and more agile once the client returns to the everyday world.
This world is full of lots of things that grab my heart but if I had to narrow it down I enjoy the natural world with its wonderful bounty of plants and trees and animals. I love visiting forests and amazing gardens wherever I travel with my family and friends. I enjoy spending time with my pets because their simple and love-filled perspective of life is so grounding.
As a Massage Therapist, I love helping others, and passionately believe that natural healing of the physical body can be achieved when understanding the core problems in our skeletal structure. I take my work seriously and educate clients on how they can change habits so they can work towards minimizing or eliminating pain. I enjoy using a combination of deep tissue massage, myofascial release, skin rolling, and trigger point therapy to help with the healing process.
When I’m not working with clients, I teach Yin Yoga, enjoy live music, explore the outdoors, visit museums, and love learning other languages.
I have been a Massage Therapist for over 20 years. I do everything with love and all of my abilities as a massage therapist fit into these few little words: I love this work. I love to see the changes and health benefits massage brings and I can't wait to see these changes in you. I am able to offer you everything from a relaxation massage to the support and rehabilitation of injuries.
When I’m not working with clients, I love hiking and spending time with my family.
All my friends call me Yo! I’ve been the office manager here at Sierra Madre Massage Company since 2019. My prior position I had the pleasure of working as a Program Director for a preschool in Altadena for 26 years. My time at the preschool was wonderful, but I was ready to focus on holistic healing.
When I’m not at the clinic or with my family, I teach kundalini yoga at The Awareness Center. Kundalini is a form of yoga that involves breathing techniques, chanting, singing, and repetitive postural exercises. It’s a great workout, inside and out!
Before I found kundalini, I was certified as an Energy Balancing Practitioner. This practice had changed my life and helped me realize the benefits of holistic healing.
I understand there are a lot of healing modalities, and I know massage is one of the top tools to help physical and mental healing. I’m so glad I found this great clinic and I’m looking forward to working with you!
As one of your Guest Care Specialists at Sierra Madre Massage Company, I am here for you! I love to meet new clients and see our regulars come in for their soothing massages.
I love to see people reach their fullest potential in all aspects of life. I have my bachelors in Sociology from Cal Poly Pomona. When I’m not at Sierra Madre Massage Company, I work as a full-time program coordinator at the local College Access Program. At the College Access Program, I assist high school and college students in reaching their educational and career goals by guiding them through the financial aid process, counseling them on how to pick classes best fit for their needs, and advocating for student scholarships.
I came to Sierra Madre Massage Company to expand my career field and work in a mentally and physically healing environment. I love what I do and hope to see you soon!
Hi! Prior to working at Sierra Madre Massage Company, I trained to become an Eden Energy Medicine Certified Practitioner and have been pursuing education in holistic healing since receiving my Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from Azusa Pacific University.
I came to Sierra Madre Massage Company because I was looking for work within the field of wellness that had a nurturing atmosphere and amazing people. Having spent some time here, I can confidently say Sierra Madre Massage Company has both! Massage has always been close to my heart, even since I was little, so I am so thrilled to be working alongside these amazing therapists and to support all their wonderful clients as their guest care specialist!
When I’m not at Sierra Madre Massage Company, you can find me putting energy toward living a healthy lifestyle, learning something new (especially about psychology or energy healing!), reading, snuggling with my cats, or spending time with my family.
